Using various polygons, the students will arrange a tessellation on their own. Before that, they will test which polygons can be used to fill a sheet of paper with so that there are no gaps left; they will also sort the plane figures according to their own ideas, and learn their names.

In this lesson, you will cover:

Mathematics.Primary 2.MEASUREMENT AND GEOMETRY.Two-dimensional Shapes [I].Objectives: 1. Identify a square, a rectangle, a circle and a triangle. 2. Indicate (or tell) which corner of a two-dimensional shape is a square corner.

You will need

plane figures cut out according to the template provided, A4 sheets of paper, and crayons/pencils.
