Constructing (45 min. min)
Working in teams, the students build tracks on which balls will be moving.
The aim of this task is to create the longest and most varied track made out of paper and straws. See the rules of work and rules for the use of materials in the tab.

Discussion (5 min. min)
The teams choose a selection board to appraise the tracks and announce the winner.
Each team appoints one person who, together with the teacher, will join the track selection board.

Presenting results (10 min. min)
The teams demonstrate their tracks and the selection board appraises them.
The teams demonstrate the operation of their tracks. The selection board determines whether the balls can move freely on them, and it also measures the lengths of the tracks and count the points for structural elements.
The winner is the team that collects the highest number of points, provided that the ball in their prototype moves along the entire track without stopping.
See the scoring rules in the tab.
