Students are going to become gourmets and will identify tastes by touching cotton buds dipped in various solutions on their tongue and by trying samples of food. They will find out what umami tastes like and whether they can name tastes with their eyes closed.

You will need
plastic cups containing solutions (e.g. water + salt, water + lemon juice), small pieces of vegetable/fruit, small pieces of various types of food (e.g. olives, cheese, banana)
