How Do Plants Grow on Walls?

Working in teams, the students will create an extraordinary garden. While keeping in mind the needs of plants, the climate, colors, the form and the rules of composition, they will design a garden on a wall, make a model of it and select the plants appropriate for it.

In this lesson, you will cover:

3 -5-ETS1-1. Define a simple design problem reflecting a need or a want that includes specified criteria for success and constraints on materials, time, or cost.
You will need
Two high (min. 1 l) plastic containers or jars, water, a pump (for example from a spray bottle, or a glass cleaner bottle), and a piece (about 20 in long) of a garden hose or nylon wire.
