The students will spread out cardboard boxes in order to examine how they are made; next, they will fold a sheet of paper so that it will become a dice.

MATH.CONTENT.2.G.A.1. Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes.

You will need

Cardboard boxes (for example boxes that contained tea, toys or rice), plastic drinking straws, plasticine, and glue.
